The plate slides into a dedicated slot in the lid and can be easily swapped depending on your temperature needs. By selecting the appropriate plate, the VebaBox Model 6040 supports chilled, frozen, or ambient transport with consistent performance.

Testing was performed at an average ambient temperature of +30°C according to the International Safe Transit Association ISTA 7D summer profile.
The PCM element was conditioned for 48 hours at -31°C. The box was preconditioned for 8 hours at -20°C. The payload consisted of 11.4 kg frozen products with a core temperature of -21.5°C, including 10 kg fries and 1.4 kg sausages.
